So, on Friday night I was tired and didn’t want to cook. I looked in my freezer and found a bag of sausage gravy that I had made a few weeks ago.
2 cans of crescent rolls rolled out into a crust on a cookie sheet. Poured the gravy over it, sprinkled mozzarella cheese and baked it for the time it said to in the can.
Here is the gravy
1lb of pork sausage
1/2 small onion chopped
1 Tbsp of minced garlic
Brown it until sausage is cooked
Add a can of cream of mushroom
1/2 cup sour cream
Salt and pepper to taste
Milk to thin it to preferred consistency
To say this was a hit, I think I’ll post a picture..here is how much my growing boy (he is 14) left from the first pan 🙂
