You know the scripture in Proverbs 23:7 (KJV) “For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee.”

Well…there is a lot to that scripture. I am just going to write a little about what I have in mind.

The emotions we feel, do a lot in our mind when we don’t let go of them. Our mind, governing our bodies, does a lot of good or bad as we choose the good things in life or the bad ones to be dominant in our way of thinking.

I used to be very overwhelmed and get depressed easily. I also had issues with breathing (asthma attacks), weight and fear. I am happy to report that I haven’t used an inhaler for years and my weight is finally coming off, happy to report, since I seriously started addressing the issue a few weeks back, I am 6 lbs lighter! My fear is being replaced with courage and faith šŸ˜€

I’ve seen peopleĀ refuse to hear anymore hurtful things from people close to them, so they have lost hearing, the doctors cannot explain, cannot find anything wrong and hearing aids will not help…interesting.

I know people who hated themselves so much that they went on a path of self-destruction…spiritual, physical and mental.

What about when you are so angry that your blood pressure and cholesterol go sky-rocket and the medication can’t touch it?

The list is long and there are deep reasons why you are there.

“As a Man Thinketh” by James Allen is a fabulous book to read, very short and when you read it with the intent to learn, it is very powerful, with the potential to change your life (if you let it).

So, emotions and health…will you consider…they could be connected and you could change your life!

“Will you choose good health today? What your body does starts in your mind and heart.”
